What is Jelsat Cancellation Policy for properties?

Jelsat offers four standardized Cancellation Policies. These types are Flexible, Moderate, Strict, and Non refundable and are implemented to protect both guests and hosts. The property owners select the one which they want to apply to their properties.. Flexible Cancellation Policy allows guests to cancel up to 24 hours prior to arrival and receive a full refund. If the cancellation is requested less than 24 hours before the check-in time, the first night will not be refunded. However, the guest will receive a refund of accommodation fees for any remaining nights. Jelsat booking fees are not refunded. Moderate Cancellation Policy allows guests to cancel up to 3 days prior to arrival date and receive a full refund. If a guest decides to cancel less than 3 days before check-in then the first night is not refunded, however he will receive 50% of accommodation fees for any remaining nights. Jelsat booking fees are not refunded. Strict Cancellation Policy allows guests to cancel up to 7 days prior to check-in date and receive a full refund. If the guest cancels less than 7 days before check-in, no refund will be given. Jelsat booking fees are not refunded. Non Refundable Cancellation Policy allows guests to cancel the reservation but booking fees is non-refundable. All cancellations have to be made by a registered user via Jelsat app or Jelsat website using a cancel my reservation button in the booking tab.

Can I cancel the 24-hour request?

Yes, you can cancel without any accommodation fees or Jelsat fees if the cancellation is made before a host accepts your request. If you cancel your request after it is accepted by the host, you will be charged according to the Cancellation Policy of the property. The Jelsat fees will not be refunded.

What can I do if a property doesn’t match description or something is missing?

First we recommend to contact the host and discuss what is missing or does not match description provided on Jelsat website. It is the fastest way to give the host a chance to resolve the issue. If you cannot contact the host or the host refuses to address your complaint, you can contact the Jelsat Team via contact form in the Jelsat app. We will get back to you as soon as possible. Remember to take some photographs or document the issue so we can fully understand the nature of the problem.

How can I contact the host?

Under every property description there is a send message button. Click it and you can directly contact the host. The message will appear in the inbox which you will find in the bottom bar of Jelsat app. After your booking reservation is confirmed, we will also share with you the host’s telephone number.

How do reviews work?

Both guests and hosts can submit reviews after the reservation is completed. The reviews can be submitted within 14 days from check-out date and are published on personal profiles after both reviews are completed or after 14-day-period ends. Once submitted, review cannot be changed unless unless it violates Jelsat's Reviews Guidelines.

How can I cancel the reservation?

All cancellations have to be made via Jelsat app or website. After you make a reservation it will appear in the booking section of your app. Find the reservation you want to cancel and click cancel icon bellow booking. Read the Jelsat Cancellation Policy to see what charges may apply when you make the cancellation.

What is the Instant Booking and 24-hour request?

Hosts may choose between two types of booking options: Instant Booking and 24-hour Request. Instant Booking option allows a guest to book a property instantly, without waiting for any host’s action. 24 hours request gives a host a choice to accept or decline your request within 24 hours from submitting.
