If the host cancels a reservation, then you can either transfer the payment amount to a new Jelsat reservation or you can request a refund.
Cancellation Policy
Jelsat protects both parties, hosts and guests. Jelsat provide three levels of cancellation policy that the host gets to choose from when they decide to list their property. Guests must agree to the host cancellation policy when they make a reservation.
Flexible
Full refund (except for booking fees) will be made if a guest cancels one day before the check-in date.
The cleaning fee always refunded if the guest did not check in.
Jelsat service fee is non-refundable.
If the guest cancels the reservation less than 24 hours prior to check-in, the first night is not refundable.
If a guest arrives but decides to leave early, 50% of the remaining nights will be refunded.
Moderate
Full refund (except for booking fees) will be made if a cancellation is made 5 days before the check in date.

Refundable Damage Deposit
Hosts can request damage deposits for their listing. The damage deposit will be returned to the guest if the host does not open a claim within 48 hours from the guest checkout date. If a claim is made, Jelsat will collect payment from the guest as needed.
